This is a salt pile along the Calumet River near Chicago. I really like the blues in the pile. Someone told me that the blue comes from an added dye. This helps to tell salt apart from other salt.
This another crane owned Sterling Cranes. Her capacity is 64T. This type of crane is classed as a rough terrain crane. Incidentally the six containers she is starting to unload have approx. 12T of plastic explosives in each.
This crane is partially dismantled for transport. Her capacity is 80T. Sterling cranes is a very large crane rental company in Canada. This American is typed a conventional truck crane.
This is a unique shot of a trombone trailer. A normal trailer in about 40 ft. long, but ones like this can be extended for long loads. the beams on this trailer are 88 ft. long.
